Indian Strings meeting 2011 (ISM 2011) will be held in Puri, India during January 04-11, 2011. It is the fifth in a series of biennial Indian Strings Meetings, the first, second, third and fourth of which were held at the Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Allahabad, in December 2002, at Khajuraho, in December 2004, at Puri, in December 2006, and at Pondicherry in December 2008 respectively. These meetings are jointly organized by the Indian string theory community. The objective of these meetings is to have a gathering of young researchers and experts in String Theory and related areas in an atmosphere which stimulates expression and elaboration of new ideas. The academic plan is to have a few broad review talks, in addition to seminars, followed by several focussed discussion sessions.
