Dear Jnan,
Just now I read Pushpa's mail informing that Sumitra is no more. Sadhana and I
are both shocked and pained. We are in Geneva right now and have been travelling,
met Anshuman briefly in CERN, and a few days back Swapana updated me on Sumitra's
condition, cardiac condition developing - it looked very bad. I had been meaning to
wrote to you but because of the hectic roaming around in Europe, could not get myself
in a peaceful state. And now happened the saddest.
Sadhana and I are both with you and Anshuman in sharing all that which you both have to
bear with courage and determination. We would be back by the end of the month and
would then come down to see you.
Take care and hold on to your strength and patience.
