Dear Babuli: Very sad to hear that Sumitra is no more. But see will live on
in the hearts of all those who came across her. She has had more than her
fair share of corporal suffering for no fault of hers. But the ways of the
,Almighty are unfathomable
to ordinary mortals like us. Lacking the protective umbrella of a strong
sense of belonging with Him I turn to Tagore for solace in such grief; for
he was blessed with that Vedantic sense of belonging with the Almighty
which gives a rare and benign perspective to death that abound throughout
his writings. My deepest condolences.
