Dear Jnan,
Its with the deepest sadness and regret that I have learnt about the
untimely demise of Sumitra. I really know no words that can even address
the tragic loss suffered by Anshuman and yourself. I would only say that
there is a rare group of human beings whose humanism, inner spirituality and
goodness are reflected in their personalities. Sumitra belonged to this
rare category of individuals and it is also a tragic loss to all who knew
her including myself. I will pray for her eternal peace and repose.
I know the kind of fortitude and mental strength that you have and that
you will overcome this tragic loss. Anshuman is younger and he would need
your guidance and affection to come to terms with this tragedy.
