Dear Jmu,
I felt really sad to know the news of
Mrs. Maharana. I knew that she had serious kidney
problem, still I could not imagine this. I know
people with similar problem who live quite long.
I remember I last met her a few years ago during
Shesansu's thesis defense. That time she looked fine.
Lots of memories are coming to my mind. The days
I spent with you in Fermilab many years ago, I will
never forget. She was such a wonderful person,
very soft and very caring. Even, Sahana, my wife,
who met her briefly in 1991, liked her very much.
It must be very very hard time for both you and Ansuman
and other family members. I really don't know what to say
at this moment. May God give you the strength and
courage to go through this difficult time.
