October 17th - 21st, 2016
Venue: Main Lecture Hall, IOP, Bhubaneswar
The large Hadron Collider has discovered the Higgs Boson to complete the particle spectra of Standard Model of particle physics (Higgs Nobel Prize 2013). Now, physics beyond SM is also being probed at LHC. Here, we shall briefly review the production of particles and their signatures at LHC.
Since the discovery (Cowan–Reines neutrino experiment, Super-Kamiokande, Sudbury Neutrino Observatory) of Neutrino oscillation, claiming Noble Prizes (1988, 1995, 2002 and 2015), Neutrino physics has been probing physics beyond Standard Model in different ways. In this pedagogical school an introduction to the basics of Neutrino oscillations will be given.
