NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ELECTRON SPECTROSCOPY

Electron spectroscopic techniques have been playing a vital role in elucidating the origin of various exotic properties of materials, like Graphene, Topological Insulators, Superconductors and other correlated systems which are frontier areas of research in Condensed Matter Physics. Studies based on electron spectroscopy have been growing rapidly during the past decades, which prompted development of big facilities like synchrotron sources around the globe. National Conference on Electron Spectroscopy (NCES-2016) is aimed at providing a platform for those researchers in India practising electronic structure studies using both experimental and theoretical tools to interact closely and exchange ideas.

NCES-2016 is being jointly organized by Institute of Physics (IOP), Bhubaneswar, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) Kolkata.
