PRELIMS on a ZONAL basis in 6 Zones of ALL OVER ORISSA on :
5th August, 2007 at 2.00 p.m.


The ZONES are :
SAMBALPUR
CUTTACK
BHUBANESWAR
BALESWAR
BHAWANIPATNA
BERHAMPUR


FINAL at INSTUTUTE OF PHYSICS on :
19th August, 2007 at 2.00 p.m.

Rules and Ragulations :
  • The Medium of the Competition is ENGLISH.
  • Students of class XI to final year of Bachelor Degree are only eligible .
  • Each college may send any number of students.
  • Time limit for each speaker is 5 MINUTES.
  • Participants should produce their ID card at the vanue of Competition.
  • Judges' decision is final.
  • 3 participants from the each zone are qualified for the final at IOP.
Debate topic is chosen on GENERAL INTERESTS
It is announced 1 hour before the commencement of the competition
(for both Prelims as well as final)


PRIZES FOR THE FINAL
1st - Rs. 1200/-               2nd - Rs. 800/-              3rd - Rs. 500/-
  • Rs. 500/- for each Zonal Finalists.
  • Finalists are paid TA and local hospitality at Bhubaneswar.
