	International Conference on Physics at Surfaces and Interfaces March 4 - 8, 2002, Puri, India

The conference will be held in the beach resort of Puri on the Bay of Bengal. Puri is an international tourist spot with its long sandy beach and nearby temples listed under World Heritage sites. Some temples date back to the eighth century. The famous Sun Temple at Konark is 35 kms away from Puri. Puri is 65 kms away from Bhubaneswar, the capital of the Indian state of Orissa Bhubaneswar is connected to Calcutta (Kolkata), Delhi, Bombay (Mumbai) and Madras (Chennai) by air. The five-day conference includes an excursion involving the Golden Triangle (Puri-Konark-Bhubaneswar) The conference will be held in Toshali Sands- a hotel with its own private beach.

All participants will be accommodated at the beach resort, Toshali Sands, in Puri in two-bed rooms. You should plan to arrive on Sunday, March 3, 2002. Transport from Bhubaneswar airport to Puri will be provided. If you travel by train you can directly reach Puri.

Format for Abstract

Abstract should be typed on A4 size paper with 2.5 cm (1 inch) margins around paper. Title of abstract should be typed using title case, bold face print, 14-pt. Times New Roman font and centred. Author(s) name afifiliation and address should be typed in 12-pt Times New Roman font and centred. Text of the abstract should be limited to 200-250 words and single spaced (using 12-pt Times New Roman font). The abstract page should also contain the following information.
