The book had been in the best sellers list of amazon.com under physics(gravity) or more than five years. In fact, for some time in December, 2001 and January, 2002 it was No.2 in that list. This had happened most likely as Prof E Witten of Institute of Advanced Studies, Princeton and some others, had recommended the book to their doctoral students.

The book has been out of print for a number of years.
