Bhubaneswar Area Scientific Events (BASE) is an integrated online calendar page that displays various scientific events (Talks/Seminars/Colloquia/Public Lectures) happening in the greater Bhubaneswar area. The calendar aims to foster better academic coordination & interaction, visibility & dissemination of information to interested people. This is in view of the number of research/academic institutions that have recently come up in and around Bhubaneswar. We believe that BASE will provide an excellent resource platform to keep abreast of interesting scientific developments and explore the possibilities of collaborative research. BASE would initially focus on Physics and Materials Science events occurring at Institute of Physics (IOP), Utkal University, National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) & Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar.
